Children & Youth
At Cornerstone Church, we take seriously the call to shepherd young children with the word of God. We desire for the gospel of Jesus Christ to save and radically change their lives. It is our hope that through the teaching of God’s word, seeds of truth are being planted in their hearts that will eventually bloom into their genuine repentance and trust in Christ’s finished work on the cross for salvation (Romans 10:9-10). After being radically transformed by the gospel through the Holy Spirit, it is our goal to present each of these children complete in Christ (Colossians 1:28).
We also understand the importance of training qualified men and women to accurately teach the truths in God’s word to these precious children. All of our teachers are deacon or deaconess qualified and are already members or in the process of becoming a member. In addition, we run background checks on all of our children’s ministry workers for the safety and well-being of our children.

Nursery Internal Operations
We offer Sunday school and other services to children in the following age groups:
Infants: newborn – 18 months
Care for infants is available during our first and second Sunday evening services. Our nursery is fully equipped with a crib, changing table, swing, rockers, and other common items to serve these little ones. Please click here (link coming soon) to see our nursery/toddler policies for parents.
Toddlers: 1+ years – 4 years old
Cornerstone also offers toddler care during both of our Sunday evening services. Organized bible teaching (1st service only), crafts, music, and play time are all provided in a structured setting. Please click here (link coming soon) to see our nursery/toddler policies for parents.
Elementary: 5-9 years old
We are excited to be teaching through the entire bible on a 4 year cycle with these children! A coloring/craft time is also included at the end of every lesson. Bible verse memorization is also emphasized with this age group.
Jr. High: 10-15 years old
Our Junior High Sunday school program aims not only to teach, but also to apply the word of God to children at this critical age of maturation. We teach biblical theology through a 20 week redemptive story of God format, Fundamentals of the Faith curriculum, and other related methods to foster their understanding of who God is and what He is calling them to do on earth.
